🚤 Virgen del Carmen – July 16, 2025
The Virgen del Carmen Festival honors the patron saint of the sea. On July 16, the communities of Aguadulce and El Puerto celebrate with a heartfelt maritime procession. A statue of the Virgin is carried through the streets, then out to sea aboard a flotilla of beautifully decorated fishing boats.
Expect music, floral offerings, and a moving display of local tradition.

🎉 Fiestas de Santa Ana – July 23–26, 2025
Roquetas de Mar’s biggest summer celebration is the Fiestas de Santa Ana, a centuries-old tradition and an official Festival of National Tourist Interest in Andalusia. From July 23–26, El Puerto and Playa La Romanilla burst into life with religious ceremonies, beach games, concerts, and cultural events.
Festival Highlights:
Chupinazo (Opening Celebration) – July 23, 8:00 AM: Rocket launch, kids’ workshops, and the lively Feria del Mediodía with local seafood tapas.
Live Music & Entertainment – Nightly concerts, plus the International Street Animation and Music Bands Contest (July 25).
